ContourThisCasting is owned and ran by artist Jared Smith. Jared has a BFA in Studio Art from Pittsburg State University and has studied art in Europe and the US. ContourThisCasting specializes in life casting. Common requests are hands, pregnant belly casts, face masks, and full busts.

Jared uses dental grade alginate, the same stuff the dentist uses to fit you for braces, which results in an incredible amount of detail. In some cases, it is even able to capture the pores in the skin. The process is painless and is similar to getting a mud peel from a spa.

Life casting is the perfect way to immortalize a loved one's face, your pregnant belly, and even your new born baby's hands and feet.

Pregnant Belly Casting - $999
This casting immortalizes the miracle of child bearing and covers the front of the body from the collar bones to the pelvis. The final product is a 1.5 inch thick shell made of Liquistone casting concrete.

Hand/Feet Casting - $350 1st hand + $50 for each additional hand
This casting is perfect to capture the love between two people holding hands, and is fun for children. We can even capture a treasured toy or other object by casting around it, leaving it trapped in the casting. This casting covers up to the wrists or ankles. The final product is a full solid 3D statue of hands.

Face Mask Casting - $350
This casting covers the front of the face and does not include the ears. The final product is a 1.5 inch thick shell made of Liquistone casting concrete.

Full Bust Casting - $1499
This casting covers from the shoulders up. The final product is a full solid 3D statue of the top of the shoulders, neck and head.

Torso Casting - $1499
This casting covers the front of the body from the neck to the mid thigh. The final product is a 1.5 inch thick shell made of Liquistone casting concrete.

Full Torso Casting - $5000
This casting covers the front and back of the body from the neck to the mid thigh. The final product is a full 3D statue that can either be hollow or solid.
